Manchester City and Spain midfielder Rodri has won the Ballon d'Or, the prize for the best footballer in the world according to UEFA, France Football and L'Equipe magazines.
Rodri's prize was announced at the 68th award ceremony held in Paris.
Rodri is 28 years old. As part of ‘Manchester City’ midfielder in 2024 won the championship of England, and together with the national team became European champion.
In the history of the Ballon d'Or, Rodri became the first player from Manchester City to win the prize for the best footballer.
Among women, Aitana Bonmati of Barcelona won the best player award for the second year in a row.
