Canadian Toronto resident Owen Ross claimed in 2020 that he was abducted by aliens and they showed him the future of Canada and the United States. The 38-year-old pediatric doctor suddenly disappeared in May of that year. Neither family, friends nor coworkers knew what happened to him or where he was for more than 3 days. The strangest part is that the disappearance happened right in the middle of a workday. Owen went into his office, took a few patients, and then literally vaporized. The only way out of the room - a window of the 4th floor, but the camera on the roof of the building opposite allowed to reliably find out that it was not used.
Owen's mysterious disappearance was reported to the police. Attempts to explain the disappearance logically failed. It wasn't like a play or some kind of hoax. I suppose the search would have ended in vain if the man hadn't returned on his own. And with some surprising and terrifying information at the same time. The first thing he did was to contact his family and go home.
His appearance was troubling. Owen was very worried, and finally got up the nerve to tell him everything that had happened to him. The pediatrician assured him that he had been abducted by aliens or people from the future. He found himself inside a round black room, where there were several creatures that looked like humans in unusual suits that resembled spacesuits. Ross tried to find out who they were and what they wanted, but there was no answer. For a moment he thought they were sculptures, not living beings, but when they began to move, the doubts disappeared.
There was a small stage in the floor in the middle of the hall. The lights went out everywhere, and the man became frightened, a bright beam struck from the ceiling directly onto this stage. An image of the Earth appeared on it. Owen could clearly make out a map of our planet. It began to change. At the bottom, where Antarctica should be, was a small patch of land. Africa, Australia, Europe, part of Asia, and almost all of North America were completely or partially under water.
In the corner, the man noticed the number 2046. In the Canadian's opinion, he was shown the future of our planet. The ice is melting, the level of the ocean is noticeably rising. Under such conditions, a huge number of countries together with major cities will be under water. If today about 29% of the land is occupied by land, then by the middle of the 21st century this figure will be reduced to 19%. And by the end of the 21st century it will be about 10%. Then the picture changed. The man saw something strange.
The entire planet was covered with water. People lived exclusively on artificial structures on the surface of the ocean. They resembled scaffolding - a huge number of multi-kilometer tubes, on top of which the very real floating cities were located. Civilization was a thing of the past, for it was impossible to extract the necessary minerals under such conditions. Owen could not understand - was the Earth being shown to him? Was the future of mankind to survive amidst the vast sea?
After all this “show” the man was finally addressed. One of those present said something into a small “box” resembling a walkie-talkie or something like that, and it translated what was said into English. The Canadian was offered to leave the Earth with his family, because in the next few decades it will face serious cataclysms and unprecedented changes. Ross thought about it and decided he would stay. This is his home here, he decided to tell as many acquaintances and ordinary people as possible about what he had seen. To warn of the impending catastrophe.
Since 2020, Owen Ross has been invited several times to podcasts and various shows on local radio. Further to promote his ideas, the man could not. Now he is actively working to set aside money to buy real estate in a “safe” place. Among the options considered are Calgary and Edmonton.
Interestingly, climatologists confirm the pictures Owen has seen. Already today, environmentalists are sounding the alarm. According to experts' forecasts, by the end of the century all of Australia and Micronesia, Europe and Russia up to the Far East, Southeast Asia, all coasts of Africa, South America, except for the mountains, most of Central and North America may be under water. Mongolia and China will be least affected.
I am convinced that the Canadian man's story is true. The threat of the rising waters of the world's oceans is acute. There are several factors influencing this process, and some of them, unfortunately, are beyond human control, so to some extent this phenomenon will happen anyway.
Another important and, as yet, unexplained detail. How will these changes affect seismic activity? Will the process be accompanied by the awakening of major volcanoes and provoking large-scale tsunamis or not? Experts differ on this issue, but in any case, it is better for mankind to be reinsured and prepare for the worst case scenario.
